Mumbai, September 14,2015 : There was a lot of enthusiasm and vigor in the campus of Whistling Woods International as students welcomed the multi-talented actor Farhan Akhtar with a musical performance which was followed by audio-visual journey of the 100 years of cinema. The multi-faceted actor conducted a masterclass on acting, direction and evolution of Indian Cinema over years.
Farhan who has effortlessly carved his own niche in Bollywood encouraged the students to enhance their work but also gave them an insight into his glittering career in the industry.The actor who has donned many hats in the industry further enlightened the youngsters by saying ” Believe in your own ability to make a film that has an impact.Be honest about your work and respect other’s work at the same time. It is very important for the actors to respect the directors and for directors to be sensitive towards actors.
Further on the Dil Dhadakne Do actor congratulated Subhash Ghai for having established such an institution that provides the best of everything to its students. ” It needs passion andimmense willpower to run an institute like WWI. Hats off to Subhashji” he said.
Appreciating the efforts of the students for organizing such a grand festival, Farhan said he was energized by the overall mood at WWI.
