Launch of State-Of-The-Art Media Lab From Foxconn Technology Group

The day marked a significant chapter in our establishment as we launched the Foxconn media lab at our institute in Filmcity, Mumbai.


The media lab, made possible through a donation of media equipment by global consumer technology leader, Foxconn Technology Group, will provide over 600 students with access to cutting-edge media equipment to support their academic learning and enable them to gain practical hands-on experience working with the latest in filmmaking technology. The launch of the Foxconn Media Lab marks a milestone in our vision and goal of preparing next-generation filmmakers who will create distinctive content for a wide range of media platforms.


As an innovative technology company, Foxconn works closely with companies throughout the information technology industry to promote the use of technology to inspire innovation and drive the advancement of other industry sectors. In particular, Foxconn is committed to partnering with industry leaders to seize the opportunities presented by the Internet of Things, Big Data, cloud computing and mobile technology solutions, and the media and entertainment industry is a key sector where advanced data management solutions and technology are critical in delivering a more immersive consumer experience, especially against the backdrop of the growing popularity of digital and mobile media content.
