The New Year is here and 2015 has brought with it some great movies to look forward. The Bollywood cinema is budding with some exciting movies. There is a blend of romance, drama, action, and something unique is something to look out for this year. Already movies like Tevar and Hawaizaada seem promising. Just to give you taste of what is to come, here are the movies that are to hit the box office this year.

The movie Roy starring Ranbir Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Arjun Rampal in which they are caught up in a love triangle. The story revolves around a filmmaker (Arjun Rampal), a thief (Ranbir Kapoor) and their mutual love interest (Jacqueline Fernandez).

Shedding his chocolate boy avatar, Varun Dhawan will be seen in a new rugged look in his movie Badlapur. Directed by Sriram Raghavan and tells a story of a young man seeking revenge for his lost love. Co-starring Varun Dhawan are Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi and Divya Dutta.

Zoya Akhtar is back with yet another multi-star movie. Dil Dhadakne Do have actors Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priynaka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, and Shefali Shah. The story is of a dysfunctional Punjabi family taking a cruise trip.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy:

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy stars Sushant Singh Rajput. Based in Kolkata, the movie is inspired a detective series.

After giving several blockbuster hits, Vidhu Vinod Chopra is here with another potential blockbuster. Wazir is an intense drama starring Amitabh Bachchan, Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari.

Bombay Velvet:

Anurag Kashvap is directing Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and the much talked about Karan Johar. The movie is one of the most anticipated movies of the year.

One of the most talked about movies Shamitabh has an impressive starring. The blend of the best actors from south and our very own legend has attracted quite a lot of attention. Amitabh Bachchan is in the lead and Dhanush and Kamal Haasan’s youngest daughter Akshara are paired for the movie.

In Maneesh Sharma’s Directed Fan, Shah Rukh Khan plays a role of a fan of a reel-life superstar.

Another romantic drama by the famous Imtiaz Ali, Tamasha features Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani has been the talk of town. The movie starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Priyanka Chopra is said to be released in December this year.
